What's the most cost effective method of increasing the engine/exhaust sound on a 2003 6 v6?

I resently had my resonator cut off cost you about $30 gives you a little more sound and releases back presure. Also shaves about 22lbs.

If you want maximum sound for minimum cost, get a muffler shop to make straight pipes for you.

If that's too loud, have them weld in some $30.00 Turbo Thrush mufflers

For about $200 (+shipping) you can get an OBX axle back. Looks (and sounds) very much like the Racing Beat axle back once you pop off the OBX badges and polish off the pencil lead size spot welds with a dremel. A knowledgeable person will know that it's not Racing Beat by the unplated welds, but no one else will know the difference.

Any more money and you might as well just get the Magnaflow.
