Not sure of the exact process, but usually that's a chip modification nowadays since the vehicle is usually electronically governed. I'm more curious as to why you "need to unlock it no matter what."

hehehe it's just a shame that when you are speeding at 129mp/h and then a toyota corolla passes near you why would I buy a V6 if I cannot go for more than 129

how often do you go 129+?
otherwise removing the limiter is a waste of money.

maybe that guy in the corolla that passed you got it for $150? cause you sure as shit can't do it to the 6 for that cheap, well, you can't do it at all, but i doubt it would be that cheap if it ever came about.

you should have done more research if the only reason you got the V6 was to go faster than the 4cyl.

Yup, you're outta luck man.
The 2nd gen is still too new, and it doesn't have much tuner appeal compared to the 1st gen. I doubt if a lot of companies are gonna bother with it.
But if you do find someone, let us know and spread the word.

What about devices such as 'HKS SLD (Speed Limit Defencer) and Apesix RSM (Rev/Speed meter) they are saying that these devices work with most of the cars, has anyone of you tried one of those!?

HKS didn't work on the 1st gen, but feel free to be the guinee pig for the new model

but as stated, nothing that anyone knows about has worked, the best you can do is contact the company and see if they can confirm it will work or refund your purchase if it doesn't.
