While installing the cp-e intake, the long plastic tube that comes from the valve cover and connects the hose to the bottom of the intake broke. It's the PCV breather connection. Where did it break? All you really need is an open connection from that valve cover fitting to the filtered air fitting. You can just connect the two broken pieces with a tight fitting piece of rubber hose and you may want to clamp the hose in place. Be sure that it won't collapse with heat or you'll put your crankcase under vacuum and suck the seals in.

or u can be smart and get a crankcase filter and find a way to block off air to that hole inside your intake! it's a 5.00 fix!

I assume you mean the intake plumbing and not the intake manifold.

Yes, and unless you broke the fitting in the valve cover you can repair it with some hose.

Noob here,

Talk about bringing one back from the dead. That pcv breather hose shown in the picture is snapped off at my accordian tube. Would that cause my car to all of a sudden start stumbling hard?

It originally had a stumble but nothing like it is now. I took it to pep boys to get a tune up, and they called me back and told me that it had broke off and they wouldn't do the tune as that should fix my stumbling problem. They also said that whoever worked on my car before already broke it and superglued it back on. The dealer says I need to buy a new intake for 500 bucks. No way am I paying that much. So I guess I have two questions.

Will that cause me to stumble/misfire(I am throwing a code now, but wasn't before, cyl 5#). And whose leg do I have to hump for a stock replacement tube and accordian for cheap ?
