new owner - couple of questions

Hi, just got a new 2.2d Platinum Nav 175bhp Auto. Very happy apart from the usb playback problems - too slow to load and always starting from the same track.
I have 2 questions for you experts out there:

1. Is there no global window opening/closing on this car using the key fob?
2. Is there no approach/coming home lights that come on when you have the headlights on auto, unlock the car with the fob and it's dark outside, and stay on for a certain time when you arrive home.

I can't remember a car that didn't have these features for many years.

Congrats on your purchase!

1. There is no global window button and it's annoying. The previous models had it, we don't know why they removed it.

2. There are "guide me home" light options available through the center dashboard, but I don't know if they will turn on from unlocking the doors. You can only choose to have the lights stay on for up to 2 minutes after shutting the car off.

Thanks Byakuya. How do I go about accessing the 'guide me home' light option?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I thought they were with the other lighting options in the center console controls. Though, I don't know if the lesser (non-GT) models have said options.

At least in my Touring that option is available. You need to access "Settings" -> "Vehicle" -> "Lighting". You should see something called "Auto off lights" or something of the sort.

Yes it's in there, and if you can confirm the Touring has the options then all the models should.
