First time poster, tried searching so if this is posted I didn't find it.

Not sure what happened, but my drivers side front window seems to have malfunctioned. When it goes all the down it struggles to come up, when I give it some help it goes up all the way, but doesn't realize it is up all the way and wants to continue to go up, resulting in a grinding / hard clicking sound.

I'm VERY "un technical savy" when it comes to cars. Is this something i can adjust removing the door panel? Am I needing a new window mount/motor? How much am I looking at by taking it to a dealer or just a local mechanic?

hey there, i also ran into that same problem and decided to search for it and if i couldnt find the answer, id ask.

well, im still searching and will post back anything that i find but at least you know youre not alone on this one.

I have a similar quandry, when the window goaes all the way up, it automatically comes half way down! .. bit chilly for this!!
