Default A different LED dome light mod

So I decided to do this mod, a bit more hardcore.

I looked through the forums, and found that no 1st gen 6's have done this

I decided to ditch the old reflectors in the dome lights and replaced them with LED boards.

T10 36 SMD LED Light Festoon Dome Bulb Lamp White 12V DC | eBay

When I purchased these, my measuring was more of a estimation. Therefore they were a bit too large and only 30 out of the 36 LEDs shine through the clear plastic housing.

The light produced by these babies is amazing. I just gott keep my interior spotless(which I pretty much already do) because these babies point out bacteria.
Here are some pics.

I'll post some night pics in a bit. Last night, these babies made my car look untinted.

I'm sure the lighting itself is great!
But Im not so much of a fan of how the housings look now in the day when the leds are not in use
Defs a good idea though!

I know what you mean, but who is looking up making comments on how something looks a bit out of place?

I had also considered Taking the reflectors and trimming them with the dermal to make a frame for the boards. Still a potential idea, however the cold is keeping me inside, where the dermal is not allowed.

But nightshade is a good idea, but not really my style. My sidemarkers are clear.

I hear you. My front bumper markers are clear also. I want clear led rears but all they have are red or smoked. I think some dremel and electrical time over the summer might change that though.
