haha, I was actually thinking that if they were used in motion, that it might blind me, the driver.

You could try what I did if you don't like the look of the clear lenses during daytime. I took some matte clear coat (Rustoleum) and masked off the dome lights and gave the lenses a few coats. It gives the lens a frosted look.
