Welcome!

If you're looking into the aux input, google "auxmod" by sylflex. Great product.

If you're looking into an iPod connection, there are a number of brands that offer plug-in connections to the stock head unit. The pro to this, is that it'll charge your iPod at the same time if that's what you're after. The con, is that it usually works only for older iPods (not iPhones either iirc). There is the xcarlink that offers both but it's a bit pricier.

Just as long as you mount everything and remember to replace all the bolts nice and snug, it shouldn't be a problem with vibrations.

No problem.

An aux cable will work with anything with an aux jack, but it won't charge.

Welcome to the club!!

Here is a link which i did on my 07. I had mostly everything laying around the house except the jack itself which was like $4 at radio shack. Took about 1/2 hr to install once i made the cable.

http://forum.mazda6club.com/mazdaspe...se-system.html

Mazda sells a factory ipod/iphone integration unit. Xcarlink is also a good one. Those units will run ya anywhere from $50 to $100 i believe.
