Battery is running 13.2 volts.
When trying to start: Turn key wait for immobilizer light to disappear, then try to start. I hear nothing but clicking.

SERIOUSLY People! What kind of forum is this? I need some help!

Calm down? I was stuck at work. 45 minutes away from home. It's starting to snow. No tools except for some crap kit a lady at my work had.

Anyway, the lady had a battery jumper/tester. Tested the battery with the crappy tester part. Tester said it was around 13.2 volts. The fuse box at the driver's kick panel was dry (problem that the rx-8 guys had) and the problem was getting progressively worse (interior lights started flashing and hazards eventually stayed on steady with the occasional slight flicker.). All signs pointed to adead battery, but the tester said it was fine. I decided to jump start it anyway because I didn't trust the tester.... and whaddya know. It fired right up. Looks like the battery is the issue and that "tester" on the battery jumper is a piece of shit. New battery tomorrow.

**Edit: This information is pertinent, but not the solution. I've posted the solution in post #13.

So, since I still see a ton of threads with this same question and no solution, I decided I'd come back and use forums the way they're supposed to be used: To share information in an effort to actually HELP people who are looking for answers.

As it turns out, it IS the same issue as the RX8:
Drains from the sunroof and wiper cowl get clogged and water backs up into the quarter panel. It backs up to the fusebox (or wires) in the driver's kickpanel and wreaks electrical havoc. The hazards/turn signals are usually the first affected. You need to unclog the drain behind the fender-well. There is a little lip on the drain that I believe picks up dirt/mud/etc and creates the initial clog. As the drains pull more grim/dirt down from the sunroof and the cowl, the clog gets worse and worse until it clogs totally.

When I unplugged it, sand and algae and mud came POURING out of he drain. It was pretty nasty. Anyway, I just used a pair of small/long needle-nose pliers to stick into the fender-well drain and pull out the gunk. I also ran weed whacker line down the sunroof drains to remove/loosen whatever might've been in there. It now flows great. Here are pictures to show the drain that needs unclogged with the pliers. The sunroof drain is pretty self explainitory.
