My 2008 Mazda 6's dash lights went out and at the same time all the gauges froze to where they were at when the lights went out. I believe my gas gauges is stuck at 1/2 a tank and the speedometer is stuck along with the odometer. Any ideas? Any help would be great!

1) wrong section (2009+)
2) did you do anything at the time (new stereo?)
3) check every fuse

Good luck.

If he lives outside of North America this is the right section.

Nothing was added and checked all the fuses. I hope it is not the body control module. Hate to spend that kind of money when the car is only a year old.

Just sounds like it lost power. You might check the connectors on the back of the cluster since it's not the fuse.

How many fuses did you check? The Ignition wire for the cluster goes through F53 (METER) fuse. Main power goes through the F20 (MAIN), F27 (BTN), and F48 (ROOM) fuses.

I checked 3 fuses. Looks like I will have to check one more. Thanks for the info. Hopefully this will take care of the problem. Hate to think that I will have to have the body control module replaced.
