Can you guys please do me a favor. I've noticed that when I hit bumps, my headlights shake and the light flickers up and down. If I put pressure on the headlights, they have some play in them. But what is worse than that if I hit the bumper, or pull on it, it moves the headlights.

Can you grab the bumper by the front wheels and pull on it and see if it changes the angle of the headlights and post here? Might be easiest to do it at night against a wall so you can easily tell if it does it.

Thanks in advance.

i did it. the bumper flexed some, but the headlamps didn't move. I would recheck everything is fully seated.

While I have not noticed lights moving while driving I did go out last night and check in my driveway.

I pushed on front of bumper, hood or small piece between hood and fender/light - no light movement.

When I pulled on the bumper that wraps under the light near the wheelwell, the bumper cover moved some and the lights did as well but so did the car a little. My sense after several tries was that most of the light movement was due to the whole car moving up and down on shocks but a small part (very small) was due to flex in the light assembly.

I then moved to our Honda Odessy and tried the same thing. Nearly no light movement. In part I believe cause it takes a lot more to move the van up and down and because the lights are more in the middle of the car than on the sides as in the mazda.

when I did it I got a little bumper movment and it looked like the headlight might have moved a hair but nothing that wouldn't be expected from shaking it...

Ditto on C-man's reply:
1) there shouldn't be headlight play
2) the M6 suspension takes care of a LOT, so it should be LESS noticeable on this vehicle than others

I'm hard on the car and have *NO* problem with this; I have the stock HIDs in mine.
