When you went to have your personalized settings done, has anyone had the technician mention any undocumented settings that can be changed?

I plan on going in today or tomorrow to have it done.

I have read there are some in the owners manual that aren't listed on the card, but I'm wondering if there are some settings that aren't listed in either document. I ordered the shop manual, so I can't read if anything else is available for setting.

Funny Thing... I am still waiting for my shop manuals. I ordered them over 3 weeks ago and they sent the wrong vehicles manuals. I just got back from vacation, so I will call them Monday to find out where my manuals are. I think I paid over $150 for the two manuals. I had a coupon from the mymazda site for my dealership parts department.

My vote is for "no" on this one.

Mazda in Stamford, when I was personalizing, offered to look for some wishes I had in the computer and didn't turn any up. Oddest one:
Open all doors with one click of the unlock fob . . . difficulty: advanced keyless version of the car

The computer only had provisioning for this if you had regular entry.

This, and, the old "unlock the trip computer" trick from older builds doesn't apply on this model.

I wish it was true, but seems like it's not . . .

I had my options done yesterday at the dealer. I asked them how it is done and they said they hook up a pc and download the options from a Mazda site. There is no way an owner could do this.

Well, if you were to purchase the Rotunda Vehicle Communication Module and Dell Toughbook, you too can program your own Mazda 6.
