Hello, I am a bit confused here.
According to my understanding, Lux (lx) is in terms of brightest. so 2000 lx - 4000 lx (standard) is brighter than 1000 lx - 2000 lx (Low) Therefore, the low setting is suppose to trigger the on/off at a dimmer brighness while the standard setting would swtich on/off at a brighter brighness. However, actual result seems to suggest otherwise, I have ask my dealer and they are all puzzling. Does anyone know more about this setting? |

I was about to have mine set to 1000-2000 lx but now I'm not so sure... I too find the 2000-4000 lx setting turns the light on while it's still bright outside.

Also, does the dealer really need to do this? Is there some secret sequence of buckle/unbuckle 3 times, cycle the headlights twice, and pat your head while pumping the gas pedal that does the same thing? It would be nice but the manuals these days basically say 'don't touch your car dummy, only a dealer knows how'. Thanks -Nate |

I also want to change the setting. Having the lights come on in the middle of the day is a pet peeve of mine. If any one knows how to change the setting without going to the dealership would be great.

Is this an option in the 08's?
We purchased a 6 for the wife...I need to figure out which one it is.. Surely not a speed 6. It has the 4 cylinder engine, without bose, and has a fake fog in the light bar. Dave |
