Default front parking light question

Does anyone know if it's illegal to remove the front parking light in virgina or anywhere? With the HIDs, i really don't like having the front parking light on when my lights come on. If it is illegal, then does anyone have any recommendations as to what color bulb i should put in place of the front parking light (legal preferrable)?

thanx,
yasir

I'm not asking. You asked what to replace the parking light bulbs with because they looked ugly next to your HID's, correct?

yes...yes i did....but i don't think the parking light is an H4 bulb...i think it's one of those dinky 194 bulbs. The high beams are H1, but the little parking light bulb (which is in the top right outer corner of the high beam light casing, isn't H4 i don't think. Can someone verify?

You're right.

In that case, you could probably get a pure white or blue tint bulb to go with the xenons.

I can't think o fwhere the parking lights are right now... they are clear, right?
