Alright so once upon a time I came across a thread on here and one guy was saying he did a 15sec 1/4 in a stock 6i. I've told my friends (who all drive Honda civics done to varying degrees of tune) and they don't really believe me and now I can't find that post!! See their problem is that they have cars that weigh less and have more wheel hp than I have brake hp. they all run anywhere from 13.5-16s. I've never even been to the track let alone ran down it, so I have no real idea of how fast my 04 6i hatch should be. I definitely plan on hitting the track this summer a few times but I'd like to know what I can expect from my car. I realize my times may be worse than anything you may have done simply because of inexperience on a track. If anyone has old timeslips to prove their times that would definitely help prove my case to my friends. Also, just for kicks, let's maybe have all 6i times. just list your mods to go with it!!

though it takes some time, there's quite a bit of info in here
http://forum.mazda6club.com/index.php?showtopic=75441 ...and for the newer guys/gals, please no references to street racing. things like "i smoked a xxx last night" or "i beat a xxx from a roll, no problem" tend to not be from legal races, so please try to refrain from those style of posts. if you have times from the strip or experiences as such, feel free to comment.

holy crap that was alot to read!!!! So it seems I can hope for anything from 15.5 if I'm real good and conditions are perfect, to a 16.5. Although alot of the times in that thread are for atx. I guess we'll see where I am in the spectrum after I go. Maybe next weekend....
Oh, which thread should I post in once I do have some times?

So clearly I haven't been to the track yet, however if anyone is interested I will be going to Cayuga on Sunday.
I might only run a couple passes though. I'm REALLY nervous about wrecking something seeing as this is my daily driver and I can't really afford the tow bill home or the repair bill. Maybe I'll try to convince one of my Honda friends to let me run their civic first.....

You're not going to get a 15.5 dude, lol. Not sure how you came up with that number.
My guess, because you haven't experienced The Tree yet, is mid 16's with a decent launch. You're going to fuck the launch until you do it more often and get comfortable. You guys do seem to have some very fast tracks up there in Canada, however.
