At least that makes me feel better about turning 14.6's at 5300 ft on a stock car.
Suggestions....WOTBOX but only use the shifting portion unless you have a bolted diff and upgraded axle. RELAX!!!! I have the same problem of getting overly nervous when I get to the line and I miss a gear or launch horribly. |

lmaoo, the speed6 is one fukd up bitch, but a sexxi bitch nun the less. i think im gonna do wot box. but then again i think ill stick to the natrual shift pattern. i know i can pull a high 13 or low 12 with the proper launch.

Phhh, using "assistance" (WOT Box) takes all the fun out of it. Just read the tips at the top of the drag forum. (bottom of my sig)

The first post, by you at that, had two major flaws in it.
1) reving your engine between 3000 and 5500 does not build boost. You have to have a load on the engine to build boost. Free revving while sitting at the line doesn't do it. Wotbox cuts spark intermittently which creates a load and builds boost for the launch. 2) That loud clunk you hear is NOT the clutchpack engaging. It is the diff smacking the belly of the car. You won't hear that clunk when you have your diff bolted. Also, you should have DSC off which has the clutchpack engaged. It's quite frightening that you have those two statements in the Speed section of how to launch. |
