Don't beat yourself up. Dyno's are only useful for tuning and comparing power changes from mod to mod after getting a baseline. Don't look at "217" and compare it to a completely different dyno that hit 250 stock. If you want to get technical about it, a stock MS6 is supposed to put down 274hp at the crank, which after AWD drivetrain loss is ~213awhp, and then you're in the right ball park.

Dyno Dynamics known to be a Heart Breaker Dyno. Do not be dissapointed as ALL dynos read differently and it should only be used as a tuning tool. Use this Dyno as a base now on modifying your car. The Real way to measure power is your trap speed on the track.
After countless hours on the dyno with my previous cars, 217 on a DD sounds about right for AWD and 274 Crank HP. It should read high 230's on a dynojet.

Speculating what all dynos read is pointless though.

Good luck.

The higher you trap, the more power you have:

A car that runs a 14.0 @ 102MPH has a lot more power then something that does a 14.0 @ 97MPH

Basic rule of thumb, for every 1 mph you have to gain 10HP. So if you go to the track and run 2MPH quicker then before, you have gained about 20HP.

not a good rule of thumb to follow imho.. as there are a great deal number of factors that comes to play with that new found trap speed.....
