Thumbs up

I know you guys have dirty nasty hp hiding all around that shop of yours. When are we going to see some high rpm turbo grind cams for the MZR?
Scootter.

Probably when they figure out how to control the throttle plate and keep it from closing at higher rpms. Also, probably waiting on final proof and testing that the CDFP provides plenty of fuel for it too.

I've been to their shop several times, and I think I can confidently say that cams are probably something they won't be doing. I'm not saying this to question their engineering know-how, in this department I think they would be very capable. The reason I don't think it will happen is mainly due to the specialty tools and machines needed to do cams. I think that would best be left to the cam specialists, like Crower and the likes.

...But I could always be wrong.

0-60 MPH (60.3 actually): 6.45s <-- Timed with MSD DashHawk (TCS off, D Mode, no brake torque, some wheelspin off the line). Repeatable. Time should improve with better launching and better tires.

Scott, I love that you included a slef-portrait in your avatar! That's a great picture of you!

Yep, as Paul said you need some pretty serious machines in order to cut and grind cams. We'd love to, but we just ain't got the money :P
