Alright guys, here's the low-down...

We have been seriously discussing this topic for several days now, and after several heated debates we think we came up with a reasonable pricing strategy. Considering our cost and the effort that we've put into this project, we've decided to set the intro PnP option price at $399.85, and it will MSRP for $429.95. In other words, if you placed a pre-order with us we will be charging your credit card for $399.85 on top of the $640 charge for the Standback controller. So your total charge will be $1039.85 plus shipping.

Thanks to everyone for being so darn patient while we came up with these numbers!! If you guys have any questions, please feel free to post them up!

As far as I know, the people that signed up for the pre-order haven't been charged the $320 (half of the $640) that we were expecting. Does this mean that we will now be charged the whole $1039.85 in one go? I was kind of hoping to spread it out over a period of time.

That is great news. Unfortunately I have to bow out due to some recently emerging financial considerations. I sent an e-mail to your sales address yesterday, but just in case you haven't seen it I figured I'd post here. Hopefully that will also allow someone else to move up the list.

Yes, we were more 'reserving the right' to charge the $320 up front to cover our tooling costs. Luckily we had enough to cover the costs, so no one was charged the initial $320. So we will be charging the $1039.85 in one shot, but if that's going to create a problem for you, just give us a call and speak with Josh Adams. Maybe we can work something out considering that we weren't very clear about our intentions in the first place.
