I started putting in the brakelines today and the speed bleeders that came with the CorkSport SS brakelines do not fit in the rear calipers in my 6, possibly in the front either. Is there any way that I can have the correct speed bleeders sent to me and a prepaid envelope included to return the incorrect ones?

Just do it the old school way. Or get the brake bleeder kits at auto stores.

I did the back ones by jerry-rigging a small gatorade bottle full of brake fluid attached to the bleeders and pumping the brakes to both push out the air and suck in brake fluid, the front speed bleeders worked fine though. IMO the speed bleeders work more reliably than manually doing it, especially when you only have one person haha.
I'd like to thank Derrick too for great customer service in looking into the issue with the back bleeders being too small. Bonus points for CorkSport in my book! |

You want to share Derrick's secret with us all, I've still not installed mine quite yet.

Derrick's secret? To what, the bleeders? Well the back didn't fit for me, so obviously there is no secret. I have a feeling that the backs that were included in the GB don't work for anyone since they were spec'ed by the speed bleeder company, but don't quote me on that.
The fronts I just read a post on the CS GB thread and all you do is screw in the bleeder all the way, unscrew it 1/4-1/3 of a turn, and pump the brakes 4-5 times. Make sure you fill the reservoir to capacity first, you can pump the brakes about 6 full times before it drops from Max to Min. They seriously could not be any easier - just make sure you close them before you start the car and push in the brake, lol. You can actually feel the pressure build up on pumps 1 and 2, then pumps 3-5 just make sure that only fluid is in the line. |
