That's it?
I was expecting more to the post. Actually, I emailed them once about fitment of a particular set of wheels, and it took them over 1 month to respond.

I love TireRack! Bought a set of Four Bridgestone Blizzaks on closeout for $550 shipped to my door. Good gosh my local tire shop wanted that much for only 2 tires alone!

TireRack is OK - DiscountTireDirect is the Best!!!

With their free shipping, they usually end up slightly cheaper than TireRack and their customer service is excellent.

They also have some great promotional deals!

I am a long time Tire Rack customer (over 12 years of time) and am still impressed with their knowledgeable staff and quick shipments. I get tires, lights, wipers and other parts for my cars and have never been disappointed.
I have never dealt with Discount Tire although I have heard great things about them as well. Maybe something to consider the next time a purchase needs to be made.

I only got wiper blades from them. One of them was messed up from shipping so I called in.. they already had my info just by my cell number and the shipped me out a new blade the same day.

The whole process took like 2 minutes.. pretty sweet.

They are ok...jerk off that answered the phone was very argumentative with me because I wanted a different offset than what he "says" was optimal.

If it is not a +50 you can forget it with them, I wanted a +42 and he wouldn't sell it to me, said it would not work with our car and that they do extensive testing.

I told the guy, "you know that not all people are satisfied with the stock look and desire a more aggressive appearance?" He just decided to be a smart ass and tell me "well, since you know everything there is to know about tires and wheels" and I was like, OK....that's nice, I'll take my business elsewhere and be happy, and by the way, have you ever heard of fender rolling? A more aggressive appearance and better performance is the whole point of going with aftermarket wheels and tires!

They need to fill the needs of all customers...which discount tire does, they will ship in a wheel in three different offsets if I want just to test fit them and see what works best. I know because they have done it for me before and they are always good to me.

Tirerack is good for researching and for leverage on local tire places to make a better deal.

But once you purchase tires from tirerack, ship them, mount and balance, it's more expensive than local places the last three times I've dealt with tires. People only see the initial cost.

I've not been that happy with their customer service reps either (though my first experience was great) and simply will not deal with them again.
