Hey guys,

Polar sent a link to a hastings track which looks like a lot of fun. I contacted George Anderson to see what could be done in terms or the track time. Anyway, here is most of the email i was sent back. I would be in if we have enough members to do a driving school, afterwhich we would be allowed to participate on open track days, though I am not sure what the cost of that is. I have emailed him to find out more. Would be real fun, what do you guys think? We could broaden it up a bit as well to see how many members we could round up.

Email ---

Hi Nino,
Thanks for the email and interest in MPH at Hastings.
Would the drivers have any Road Course experience or perhaps a school credential?
We have Natha Waldbaum doing our driving schools to get people interested and qualified to drive on our new track. Would your club possible be interested in a Mazda day at the track with instruction? Just Mazda's only?
Any of your members could attend a driving school at MPH. The cost is currently $175 for the school and lots of school track time. Once the school is completed "Full Throttle GS101" then when we have open track days you can get on that day. We also offer what we call after school GS101.5 for licensed MPH drivers only. They can get on the track the same day we're doing another school for $50 in the afternoon.
If I can help with any additional information please give me a call.
The school we have on 5/11 has 9 people from the Subaru Owners club of Nebraska signed up....that way many of their members can come and run together at the school and then together for after school days.
My Best, George
George Anderson
President, MPH

Anyway, here is the site Polar sent as well http://www.racemph.com/ IMO, 175 for driving school is cheap, most tracks have open track day for more then that with no instruction.

As for the regular meet, id say whenever. Nice weather is already here so anytime from this day forth

Yep saw your post. That will be sweet, are they doing the autocross on a portion of the track itself? Also, is it too late to sign up and do you have any more info on it? But yeah a regular meet is cool too., was just an idea for a future thing, maybe in the fall, who knows.

Yeah, in their rules its "SA95 or newer (M rated are not allowed)" - not sure what that means. Is M for motorcycle? Lol. So yeah tack onto that the price of a helmet buy or rental.
