Bose cutting out on left side

Occasionally the sound will cut out and only play from the front right for about 2-3 secs then go back to normal, sometimes it happens once and is fine the rest of the drive, other times like last weekend it continued to happen about 5-6 times in the span of 20 minutes. Seems to happen when I have the volume up as loud as 45-46, if its a lower volume it won't happen but once it happens even turning down the volume or even turning off the car and back on doesn't work. As long as I keep the volume below 45-46 I have no issues

You may have a blown speaker causing that side of your amp to shut down.

Alpine INE-W927BT, Alpine PDX-F4 and M12, JL Audio C5 650 Components and Coaxes, Soon to be installed : 2- JL Audio 13Tw5 (unless I change my mind)

45-46 is really f'n loud, at least in my '16 GT.

What year is yours? And, were you using nav when it happened?.....

Nav voice prompts come in on the left side, if Nav volume is low(but not off), it will sound like the speakers are cutting out

At least I have chicken- Leeroy Jenkins

Just a thought, check AudioControl Awarded Patent for Revolutionary AccuBASS® Technology - AudioControl for more info.

According to AudioControl "In the majority of factory installed automotive sound systems, bass content is automatically reduced by circuitry in the audio electronics as volume is increased by the listener to reduce stress on the speakers." That's why they patented AccuBass.

Not sure if this is the culprit, but good info to know nevertheless. If it happens in only one side it may be amp limitations as @NCMAZDA6 alluded to.

I replaced my entire Bose system so I wouldn't have to deal with the multiple nuanced issues I experience with it.

Best of luck!
