I know it's 10 speakers, 333 watts, and when I gave it a spin I was quite satisfied with what I heard, I put in some CDs to really test it and cranked it up to the point where my ears wouldn't hurt and I didn't notice any of this rattling I read on here. All I read is a lot negativity towards it on these forums.

What are feelings on this?

Overall, it is a great stock set-up. However, I have maxed out the volume and driving say on the freeway with the moon roof open makes me wish it could go a little louder.

I hated it, completely, totally and utterly.

The only thing that sounded good to me were very poorly recorded children's songs; for some reason, the "logic" it did on those actually performed a slight signal restoration . . .

If it sounds good to you, that's fine, but, if you spend the same (or less) money, you get a *LOT* More at a good stereo shop.

That's my opinion though - lots of people seem to like it.

I like it, I agree it could be a bit louder with the windows down, and the bass is lacking a bit.

In the music industry, BOSE stands for "Buy Other Sound Equipment."

I think the Bose system sound pretty good. The only thing I want to do is add a subwoofer in the trunk to bring out some of the lower end bass. I am not looking to have the whole car shake with the bass.

When it comes to the Center Point setting, I keep it turned off. the system sounds better with it off, though it does add a nice surround feeling to some songs. The biggest problem with the centerpoint setting on is the reduction in the bass.

I think its ok, Im not into that much base.. so in my case it does fairly well. I think it sound great with the car off but certainly lacks something when the car is on with road noise. Maybe I need to turn off the auto.. thing..

That can be said for most oem set-ups. Compared to other cars I've experienced with premium sound, it could be worse....much worse. Thankfully, because of sirius, I listen to mostly talk radio, so I don't require much from the components.

I find the Bose system to be greatly over-rated. Any reasonable aftermarket speakers sound crisper and have better definition. Unfortunately replacing them is a bit of a challenge as the head unit is 2 ohms and most speakers, other than subwoofers are 4 ohms.
I have the Centre Point off. It almost sounds mono.

Don't get me started on satelite radio. What is going on there. It sounds like a very low bit rate music file. I wish someone would make a HD radio adapter for our OEM system. I miss the HD radio I had in my previous car.
