For those of u with iphone/itouch, the new 3.0 updated supports stereo bluetooth. So in essence that means ur 2nd gen mazda 6 can play music thru bluetooth which is bad effin ass!

I discovered this by accident this morning when my bluetooth section showed a little music symbol on it. I check my iphone while it was in ipod mode and sure enuf a little tag on the bottom reads mazda 6. I take my aux cable off, but it didnt work. I hit the aux button again and a different display popped up with some weird numbers and sure enuf music was blaring through my speakers with no cable!! I love it! Altho the quality doesnt seem to be AS good as with the aux, but still sounds pretty good.

I'm only 19 and also have the new 6, there's not many of us, we need to stick together . I was pretty excited too when I noticed the bluetooth update on 3.0. I also like that it will automatically connect to my iphone in my pocket and play music when the car turns on without me pressing anything and the phone still being locked.

29 here... yeah yeah, i am on the upper end of the 20-something range, but d*mn it, I'm not 30 for another 10 months.

Diggin this a2dp - i just wish it would actually let you control the ipod through the nav screen interface, or at the very least display track info. every thing shows up as ----- ----- ------.

Ok if you don't mind I'll jack your thread since we are on the topic of iPhones. so I have the iPhone 3g and I have a Mazda 6i 2008 it doesn't havve Bluetooth and I was thinking about purchasing the iPod intergration but i could get something like a jabra visor clip that would play my music. The big question is how much of a difference did you notice between the two because I played music through the jabra and it sounded good. Is it worth the extra 30 dollars to get the integration system?

Btw I am way out of the target age then. 16 years old

I never used the Jabra or any aftermarket bluetooth for my car, but I can say the quality of the built in bluetooth on the 09 6i sounds better than with an AUX jack. It is louder and clearer with the bluetooth built in IMO. But this info may not even be transferrable to your car. The 09 is when the second gen 6 started, the 08 is still considered first gen.
