I got a Mazda without Xenon and want to put in a after sales HID kit.
Can I plug the ballasts directly to the wire for the H11 or do I have to put in a filter or a relay.
Does the new Mazda 6 check the Low beam and if so do I get an error in the instruments in the car.

Christian..

I had an 08 mazda six that i put HID's in. I did not need a relay harness or anything (Bought it off of www.ddmtuning.com Works and looks great!) . It fit directly into the car. Now i have the 09 mazda six, with the HID kit and i have a leveler on mine. Its a little white box on the outside of the light. If you do not have that i would imagine most of the wiring they use is the same as older years and you should not have to put a filter or relay wire in. But that is just my guess.

I have an after market HID kit in my motorcycle without having to add any additional parts. Just "plug 'n' play".

Unless you want a relay for your own personal satisfaction, aftermarket kits will be plug and play.

So I just put on my DDM HID kit today and I just had a quick question for those of you that have already done this mod, It’s my first time doing a HID plug and play so I really had no idea what I was doing. Where did you guys run the wiring after plugging everything in, did you just have the HID kits cables follow with the power cable out of the headlight house. I ask because I just had them going out the back cover of the house and tried to close the cover as much as possible, but that just doesn’t seem right to me, I was going to work on it more but then realized I had 20 mins to leave for work.

Most people drill a hole in the dust cap. If you make the hole the right size, the little rubber grommet will seal up the hole.
