Hi
I really want an integrated Nav solution for my new 6 Sport (UK). The Stereo can be replaced with a double din unit I know, but its Bose. Can I use the preouts into the Bose Amp or will I have to bypass the amp completely and wire the factory speakers upto the Pioneer? Also does removing the stock Bose have any effect on other car functions, i.e Heating/Ventilation controls etc.. or is the new stereo just that, just a stereo. I had an old 6 where the whole lot was integrated and a pain in the ass to change out. Mazda sell the steering adaptor so that I can keep using the volume controls etc.. apparantly. Does anyone have any knowledge on this matter? The nav unit I want is this one : http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25/11...00BT/index.html Mazda sell the wiring harness for it but it's for the non-bose system. How hard is it to run the speaker wires from the bose amp output back up to the stereo? I dont really want to cut anything if possible so I can go back to standard if neccesary. Thanks for your help in advance. Andy |
