Can the current Metra kits that are out fit in the 08's? My best friend is getting her a 08 6i next month and Im wondering if it fits so I can put her system from another car in their for her.

I had a 2006 Mazda 6 with the metra kit in it, bought a 2008 and installed it, all works great. The only thing that does not work is the information display above the radio, just the clock shows. My old car said My Mazda and showed the temp. Do not know what the diff is, worked before now nothing. Here is a photo.[attachment=37044
