I've searched the boards and I give up. Does anyone know where to find instructions on how to program our keyless entry remotes?
Thanks, Mark |

Which remote do u have.. I have a 2003 M6 with these numbers on the remote.
Visteon Model 41805 FCC ID KPU41805 CANADA 4238A 12076 I don't know for sure if the 2003 and other years are the same but if this matches what u have just reply here and I will post the programming instructions tonight.. They are simple but you do have to have at least 1 of your original remotes.. |

Here you go.. I got this on Ebay when I had to replace the remote my wife lost along with the key.. The instruction definately work..
$38.50 for new key from Mazda $21.98 for new remote on Ebay, $125.00 from Mazda $0.00 for programming both, $85 per programming, key or remote from Mazda. Amazing what they charge.. 2003-04 Mazda 6 REMOTE PROGRAMMING Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open. Step 2: Lock and unlock the driver’s door using the power door lock switch on the door. Step 3: Insert key into the ignition. Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition. Step 5: Open and close the driver’s door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step). Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors. Step 7: Press any button on remote #1 twice. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors. Step 8: Press any button on remote #2 (etc.) twice. Each time the ECU will respond by locking & unlocking the doors. Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks. You're done! Good Luck. |

Thanks Steps Worked Great!
For everyone’s information on step 4 leave key in the ignition in the off position after turning 3 times. On step 5 you can push the switch in the door jam instead of open and closing the door. I have a 04 and lost both remotes and found 2 fobs on ebay KPU41805 for 17.50 and programed them with no probs. I didn't need any orignal key fobs to program both of them! |

hey guys, can anyone please help me with this? I am getting very frustrated. I followed these directions at least a dozen times, I get into programming mode no problem but when I hit any button on the fob twice, nothing ever happens? I've followed these directions to the T, any ideas? I'm really trying to avoid seeing the stealership over something so little, but big. Thank you very much!
