Just got it today from best buy, just couldn't wait to brag.
319 - 120 rebate = 199
I opted for the 3 year warranty for 60 bucks, figure heat and dust will do damage over the years.
It is going to be hooke dup through an xbox, mounted straight in the middle of my dash (partially covering ac controls, fully covering radio and completely covering vents. All I will have is side vents, a price worth paying. BTW I will also be getting an aux head unit in my top box. Will have pics of it temporarily mounted tomorrow.

My friend had a 14 mounted in his 95 ranger, looks damn cool, but very distracting. I was also wondering if you will have any sort of cover, or some way to detach it for security.

also, a bit off topic, but is this screen big enough to classify it under exterior mods?

That's a sweet monitor, I'm trying to do something similar, but I'm running linux on my xbox and trying to turn it into a media center for my car. Bad choice witht he 60 warranty, don't ever need those! Cool monitor though.

Nope, no more laptop. It was just to much to have in front. This monitor is going to look a lot cleaner. It was annoying to shift with that keyboard right there too (ATX shift).
The 60 dollar warranty was the whole reason I bought it from beast buy. It covers everything for three years. Since the monitor will be in contact ith a lot of heat, dust and humidity I didn't want to take my chances. I used to work at Best Buy so I know how to take advantage of the PSPs.
As far as security I have an alarm. I also have a blacked out window so someone is really goign to have to be looking for it to rob me.
I'll get pics up this afternoon when I get back to my house.

they wont have to look hard, i dont think your "blacked out window" will hide a 14" tv playing in your car... especially at night. congrats on the pickup nonetheless

Well this isn't going to be a one day install. I'm waiting to install my new HU before I hook up the screen. A preview ....

this is going to be one interesting install because that screen just overwhelms the dash.
