Well, the local dealer called and my new seat covers are in. I complained about the pilling and fuzz problems so they ordered all new covers front and back. I'll follow up with the results of the install and new material they used.

It's scheduled for this week. I'll add some pics when it's done.

The service manager said they find like 1 in 50 with this problem. I suspect it's worse.

I was told that it's the same looking material slightly modified. My car is in the shop as I type having them changed. I wouldnt be surprised if they just change them with the same material as before. I'll let you know tonight.

*UPDATE*

Seats are done ! Took them almost a full day to complete. They replaced both fronts and the seat bottom in the rear. It appears to be the same type and color material, no noticeable difference. The service manager claims that its an improved material. They look good and like new so thats a bonus. Time will tell I guess. There are a few wrinkles in the new covers but I'm sure they will work themselves out with time. Best part is, NO CHARGE !!!!
