Has any manual owners out there found that their clutch Shudders/ Slips during cold starts. Is this normal or is it my driving? should I take it back to the dealer? Is it a warranty job?

Yes, I only say this on the bad ones but you didn't even have to search. It's a sticky.

In my case my clutch shudder was most noticable when engine/clutch was cold and tranny in 1st gear at a complete stop.

I have had the clutch replaced twice for this problem, both under warranty, which is great from the point of dealer sevice, but very disapointing on an otherwise great car.

If I was the only one with this problem it wouldn't be so bad, but the problem seems to be widespread.

I have driven manuals most of my life (including a V6 626 up to 160,000km, another lovely car) and never had a problem like this before.
