Subject: 2005, 6S, V6 w/ 6spd auto (manumatic) trans. Does this have a servicable transmission filter? Also, it appears the drain plug for the 6spd is a cap-like device about 1" diameter. Assuming I've located the tranny drain plug; is there a special tool for removal? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. |

As for filter, I picked-up a magnetic, in-line filter. Much like this: (some are magnetic, some are not) http://www.bulkpart.com/Merchant2/merchant...Product_Count=2
As for the drain plug, all you need is a 10mm allen wrench, or allen socket. (sears has both)
