ok so today was a really f*cked up day!!! we were on our way to nanakuli to go to our friends house and when we were in the far left lane by where the campbell on ramp is, there is a HUGE f*ckin pothole that i didnt know was there until BAM!! i hit it...so i get to tesoro in nanakuli and i hear a noise, and i thought that it was someone checking their air tire pressure...so i didnt even think about it...then i went to our friends house, and my bf hears the same noise...so he looks at my car thinking i got a nail in my tire...*which i fricken wish it was!!*...then he sees this...

the thing that pisses me off is first off i just got the damn rims not even a month ago, PLUS ive been trying soooooo hard not to curb the rims and what happens?? something 10times worse than curbing them!!!

this is where the campbell on ramp (nanakuli bound) merges in...less than 100 yards from the sign is where the pothole is...it looks like the hole just started to form...

so yeah, as you can see, the hole isn't exactly a small one...its pretty deep and fairly wide...while we were taking pictures, several people hit the holes because you cant see it til you actually do hit it...

so those of you who go down to nanakuli side, WATCH OUT!!!!

First words when I saw those pics "ooooooo damn". Did you get to report it though? Maybe you can get at least some payment off of that?

Damn, that looks worse than I thought it would look!!!
Put some air in those steelies, and they should take you around until you get a replacement.
Don't forget to get her realigned!

Friggin' Nat, brand spankin' new rims!!! I feel your pain.......

well i had the claim forms from the state faxed over to me at work today. but u also have to send them your current registration and insurance...it sux cuz my registration is expired in january but i dont have money to pay for it at the moment...i heard that if you have aftermarket rims, you are about 90% likely to NOT get a reimbursement because aftermarket rims aren't as strong as stock rims...BUT, i am still going to try and pursue it...i think i have a reciept for the rims...even if i dont, i know the guys at the place i got the rims from can printone out for me...it may a year to 2 years to get anything back if i do....

im so bummed!! now i can't drive my car until i am able to get the steelies on my car the thing that pisses me off is, just like katsu said, they're BRAND SPANKIN NEW rims!!!!! tomorrow would be exactly 4 weeks i've had the rims....i guess on the bright side, that's more of a chance that one rim won't get curbed....*BLEH*

Yeah that's exactly what my friend did, who bought my rims. His dad hammered it down and it looks much better than before now .
