Exclamation 2004 mazda 6s rear engine mount

hello mazda folks. i have a question. i am looking for a nice but not overly expensive rear engine mount for my mazda 6. it is a 5 spd manual and the 3.0. i have had the mount replaced once before. after doing some research, i found out that the stock motor mount for the real, the car has to be driven llike an old person or some one who shifts perfectly. sometimes you have to hurry or just like to shift harder than other times. does anyone know anywhere i can look for a rear motor mount? also can you use a mazdaspeed 6 rear motor mount for the regular mazda 6? they look similiar.

thanks everyone.

Default Upgrading motor mounts

I understand the AWR 88 wish bone is the preferred rear mount. Are there replacement mounts for the driver and passenger side? or is the bushing al that is replaces.
I have a 04 3L ATX.

Is there a big difference in changing the mounts to the stiffer compounds?

Cheers

AWR offers all 3 mounts. Swapping them all will give you increased noise & vibration in the cabin as there isnt as much give in the replacement mounts which means they dont absorb vibrations from the engine.

There is a difference, however slight it may be they don't line up right, the i4 is the same as the speed iirc, just get the correct mount for your car if you do not want any issues.
