Curious to see what sort of miles people have racked up on the Ford 3.0L in their 6s.
I am at 88,500 on my manual trans 2005. Just put in NGK fine wire plugs. All looks well. |

I've got 64,000 on my 2005 6s hatch. Changed the plugs at 55,000 miles with NGK iridium IXs, and today I switched out all the coils as bank 1 was misfiring. I've kept synthetic oil in it since 10,000 miles. No oil leaks or other major problems *knocks on wood*. I'm happy.

Pushing up on 90,000 in my 2005 5-door. Bought used at 25,000
I've changed the plugs 2X. OE Motorcraft the 1st time( around 50,000) and NGK GP platinum the 2nd(75,000) I used Phillips Trop-Arctic 5W30 semi-syn every 5,000 miles for the 1st 4 changes (I had 2 cases. $1.79 qt) Used Valvoline conventional 5W30 since. Never used 5W20....not worried about the .00254 mpg I'm losing I've never had a CEL (knocks furiously on wood) I wish the Air-Conditioner was better but that's not an engine problem. |

41,400 on my 2005 6s Hatch ATX.
Had her for over a year this month. I'm the second owner, and she only had 30K when I got her. Been running nothing but synthetic oil (Mobil 1, Royal Purple, Schaeffer's Oil 7000 (WIN), Red Line D4 (WIN)). As far as mods go: MS CAI, TB Ground, Napa Magnetic Inline Tranny filter, Shock Tower Brace, Tanabe Medallion, and a couple of cosmetics. No issues whatsoever (*knocks the hell outta wood, enough to make a wood pecker jealous*). About to change out the stock plugs and install NGK Iridium IX's. *Edit* I've also done the EGR re-route and EGR intake mods, added an Injen SES CB, and Bremo blanks with EBC Reds. Still rocking nice and strong!

I'm at 106k in my 2004 ATX and still running strong. Using it as a pizza delivery vehicle so I'll be racking um up as the weeks go by. =\
