Still?? Only at start up? If at start up, try a better oil filter and make sure it's tight. I had issues with k&n and the orange fram filters in the past during startup.

95,000 miles on my '04. Drive at least 110 miles a day 5 days a week, from work and back, and it only has a couple little rattles.

Sounded purdy going 110+ against some punk teen in his dad's old Mercedes the other day

Usually not one to race, but this kid was a jerk and I could tell he couldn't drive well enough to keep up

I just commented on this in a thread in the MTX forum. I only got around 140,000 miles on my 2004 6s which I consider poor since I do 100 miles a day of almost all Interstate driving. I did have clutch judder taking off in 1st when it was cold so I suspect an issue with the disc (and wasn't there a TSB on this?). For comparison, I had 290,000 miles on my prior car, a 1987 626GT with the same drive and it was still good.

So far I have 80,000 miles on the factory replacement with no judder so I'm hoping it will last as long as I have the car.

2004 6s @ 140,000

Mobil 1/Fram every 8,000. Runs as smooth as new!

Besides the preventative maintainance usuals I've replaced:

Serpentine tension pulley, Water pump tension pulley, Lower motor mount,
and a few cracked hoses. PCV, and intake hose.

Dealing with the no start in cold right now. PCM replacement or reprogram I guess...Have to save a few $ for repair. Other than that still happy with it!

2005 6s - I'm going to hit 100,000 miles on the way home tonight. See the odometer sitting at 99,956.

Just switched to Mobil 1 syn with Bosch DD+ Filter. Recently replaced the starter, water pump tension pulley, PCV, Purge Valve, and rear struts. Front struts and all 4 shocks still original and good. Rear motor mount going out now, trying to figure out which to go with.

I'm driving 160 miles/day 5 days a week and still average over the last 4 fill ups 26mpg. If I got rid of the weight from my sub box, and go back to the stock 17's... I'm sure I could get this car upto 28mpg.

Overall, this car has given me less headaches then my Infiniti FX35.
