Talking

ok, heres the deal.. i bought my mazda 6s v6 about 5 months ago and i love it...!!
im starting to go for performance parts now..and the first thing i got was a fidanza flywheel & clutch install..
the job was done good, but after a day of driving it normally waiting for the 500 mile break in period,
i got a cel.. SO i took it to the mechanic that installed it and told me that the car was runing lean..!!
i told him that i noticed that he had broken a intake vacum line, and he said that the line being broken
wouldn't make the car pop a cel...so this guy being a mechanic that deals and builds skylines and tuner hondas i beleived
him...he also said that hes done lots of rx8's and hes had the same issue when changing the clutch&flywheel they poped
a cel...somehow i felt he was just making it up..

got home and got on the forum and saw that the broken line CAN and will pop a cell if broken...ITS THE ONE GOING FROM THE ENGINE WITH HARD PVC TO THE INTAKE TUBE...

I ENDED PUTTING A BREATHER ON THE LINE AND PLUGGIN THE INTAKE HOLE AND THE CELL IS OFF NOW...

with that being said... i would like to know if anybody in arizona knows a shop where they are familiar with
our mazdas 6's... i just ordered a cpe tunnable cold air intake and want to make sure it's installed right...
and if theres any people that hang out together here in az....as i would like to learn everything about this car...

ALSO THANKS TO THIS FORUM AND THE PEOPLE HERE.. I HAVE LEARNED MORE HERE THAN TALKING TO MECHANICS ABOUT MY CAR ELSEWHERE ....THANKS.. THANKS...

just a thought, if you want it done right try to do it yourself. not something i would always recommend but the cai install is actually pretty straight forward. did a cai on my wife's '04 6s about 2 years ago and the instructions included with the kit were right on (k & n). there should also be a thread on here with pics, but can't remember. good luck.

Where are you located in AZ? I live in Gilbert. I don't have any mods done to my car besides an AEM cold air intake. It's used for work so I pretty much just need to keep it running in top shape. This site is awesome I have learned so much. I have yet to find a good mechanic that is affordable. Let me know if you find one!

AND SAID..." WHY WOULD WE HAVE PARTS FOR A CAR LIKE THAT.?? THAT CAR IS NOT FOR RACING??"
SORRY BRO ONLY HONDA,ACURA,MITSUBISHI PARTS HERE...

I WAS LIKE COOL.... I WALKED OUT AND ON MY WAY WALKING OUT HE SAID TO SELL IT BUY A HONDA AND
