Basically put 1/2 can in the brake booster line, waited 15 mins and a whole mess of smoke came out No CEL displayed. Car ran so much better afterwards, no kidding. It was a bit sluggish and it basically "woke up" and "reenergized" after doing this. Acceleration response is quicker/smoother and idle was smoother. Video was captured on a Blackberry Bold while the sun was going down, so it's a bit grainy. |

I've been meaning to do this... Coming up on 90,000 soon so I might as well go for it.

My car had 102k miles on it when I did the seafoam.
3 weeks so far, 3k miles. No issues with the car, and it still runs so much better than what it did before I did the seafoam trick. |

Snake oil.
Does your car run better after an oil change too? I can't believe people still use this crap. |

To answer your question, yes people still use and have been using Seafoam for a very long time. It does work, if you have actually used it and had a problem please let everyone know what happened. I have used it on several cars including the 6 and have had only good results. Hope that helps.
If its just a friend of a friend comment...then blah.

I used it regularly and noticed better idle. However, I spun a rod bearing lost my motor. A bunch of people, including myself, believe it to be b/c of the Seafoam. Our rod bearings on our cars are extremely hard and mixed with the Seafoam seems to make them all fugly.
