it was the coolant sensor and i found and replaced it already. directly on top of the transmission. easy fix. thanks anyways.

Arrow Pics of ECT changing

Does anyone have pictures or video of this being done?

Is it best to disconnect the battery cables when doing this work?
Is it as easy as just plugging the new piece in?

Any help would be appreciated.
