My 04 3.0 (which has 120+k on it), has started to misfire. The scan results were P0455 (evap large), P0304 (misfire #5), & P0442 (evap small). I had a bad vac line that has been replaced. My plugs are new oem spec. I believe a coil is going bad. any experiences with bad coils? how often?
My symptoms are a rough idle, and a hesitation at low rpms. At highway speed it's fine. MAF & TB are o.k. & cleaned. Also which is cylinder # 5. i'm used to 4 cylinders & inline-6's.

Common problem,you need new coils

Group buy going on for Sniper coils which are better than OEM and cheaper than OEM at the GB price.

+1

beat me too it.........dont replace the coils with regular ones. may as well get in on the GB and get better ones for the same price if not better price. and gain some ponies and better throttle response along with it
