Default Exhaust options

Hey there!
So I wanna buy an exhaust in the summer and I don't know exactly what options I have for a 2.3. I know the v6 hss quite a few more options but is there a lot of difference between v6 and the L4?
And I would prefer something a bit louder than the magnaflow so I was thinking tanabe axel backs.
Anything else I might wanna look into?

The only difference between the v6 & i4 cat backs is the section from the cat to the axle. The axle backs are identical.

Check out racing beat and tanabe if you are just looking for an axle back. Or go custom with some cherry bombs or just straight pipe the bitch!!

I've been back and forth between a a custom axle back straight pipe (i guess its a muffler delete) or just putting in a high flow exhaust. Anyone have ideas?

Straight pipe will sound the louder than any other muffler box thing I add right?
Or is there anything I could replace the stock mufflers with that'll be louder and deeper than straight pipes?

Cherry bomb is a ricer muffler found at crappy tire.

A muffler delete would probably give you the sound you are after at the best price. If you get an exhaust shop to fab something up entirely new, and you dont like it you can put your stock stuff back on & sell what you had made.

Just another option.

I think I'll give the straight pipes a shot
If I don't like it I'll just sell the straight piping and put the stock ones back on
