Valve Cover Gasket Replace

I did the spark plugs today and found oil in 2 of the plug cavities, searching the forum shows me that I am in need of valve cover gasket replacement.
Can someone point me to a how to thread on this, because I'm not finding much on it. Maybe that is because is so easy there is no need to document it, but the more info I have going in the better.

If it's anything like the doing the V6 valve covers, it'll go something like this:

1) Call Sheldon @ Mazmart.
2) Ask for sparkplug gaskets and one valve cover gasket.
3) Obtain RTV from your local auto parts store.
4) Remove valve cover. (Maybe send it to powdercoat!?)
5) Replace gaskets.
6) RTV in factory spots (you'll see them).
7) Replace valve cover.
8) Brag to your friends.

Lol

Sheldon @ Mozmart?
Powder coating? no way

More like stop at dealer to buy gaskets
fumble around trying if figure it out what to do
Be unnecessarily careful
Take 2-3 times longer than needed
Finish the job hoping I didn't screw anything up
Feel the pride of a job well done

I don't know who that is, but I will give him a try if you point me to his contact information. The only reason i mention the dealership is to avoid shipping charges and shipping delays. Sometimes that is worth a few dollars more.

MazMart is a used and new Mazda parts reseller. They'll give you rock bottom prices and excellent customer service. I'd be surprised if your dealer could beat Mazmart's prices, even with shipping.

Call 1-800-221-5156 and ask for Sheldon. You can check them out online here: Mazmart: Your wise choice for Mazda parts. In business since 1980.

Online Mazda Parts
I've used these guys several times. Montgomery Mazda. Doing the valve cover gasket is easy. The gasket fits into the casting. Actually a beautiful application.
