I really hate being forced to push my stupid clutch just to start the car. I always leave my car in neutral unless I'm parked on a steep hill ,which don't exist here in San Antonio.

Also, I am thinking that having to push the clutch a few thousand extra times a year is going to wear it out faster than it otherwise would.

Can I disable the stupid sensor somehow so I don't have to do it anymore?

well if you think about it your going to have to use the clutch to get it into gear really your not using an extra step. unless you start your car and let it set for a while. i personally wouldn't recommend removing the sensor just for the off chance that its in gear and you don't notice. or worse yet someone else drives your car and doesn't notice that its in gear.

It's worthless. When a stupid mechanic left it in gear I started the car and let the clutch out and my car jerked and died. It doesn't do anything to help, it's just very annoying.
