Advanced timing in addition to this would then make it worse? For the first time I am truly appreciating the need to tune my car.

where's the link to the dyno...need to see at what point those levels were hit. if it was at 15.0 with a sniffer sitting in 1 pipe of a split exhaust....ehh, really depends on the whole graph, not 1 number.

He has not provided the graph yet. I am just wondering if 'generally' being lean should be expected with intake modifications.
I would imagine our EMS is smart enough to compensate, however I put preservation of my engine over optimism ps. is your car up and running yet?

they car always runs....it just doesn't drive, if that helps.
an intake will almost always lean out the A/F, which is how it makes power. if you go in to tune the car, they typically will be pulling more fuel across the map that they will be adding any...that's where much of the power comes from outside of timing.
