Bolt up? Yeah, sure.

But have fun getting it to run properly.

You will also hafta run a cable for the throttle body since the Duratec's are cable acctuated TB's and the Mazda MZR engines are electronic

Cosworth you say? Aren't those like 10 grand plus? Unless you are actually creating a N/A racing engine, I would look used. You also would have to make a special car brain to run everything, hence why the previous comment on trying to get it to run.

umm, wow....that is some list!

that car sounds destined for failure from the sound of it? maybe 1% of the 6i's on here have had any one of those issues, let alone a combination or ALL of them!

what's wrong with the engine? currently running and going out or is it dead already? what happened to engine #1, why the ecu changes (what were the problems)?

figured i'd ask before i just said take the hit and sell it for scrap

i spun a main bearing, the engine is shot. i have no clue y the ecu kept going bad, but it would only fire on 3 cyl and it would read that i have no camshaft po sens or crank po sens.. the first motor twisted a rod. at 30k ish. i know i am rough of cars but i have never had problems like this. i have to get it fixed and the prices i have got so far is around 3 with a used motor
