I have my car battery replace at a local body shop today. After few hours past by when i turn the key to on position my CEL is flashing and charging system warning light is on but when I start the engine it appear off. This never happen before I replace my car battery so I am wondering if anyone knows what is wrong with my car? I drive a 2005 mazda 6 2.3L and my engine hot after driving.

Our engine usually is hot after driving, normal for the 6i.
It could be that they did not tighten the bolts on the terminals on the battery. I left mine loose on my old car and it would not start because of it. If you have a 10mm wrench, you can tighten it yourself (just don't let negative touch positive). Also, if you want to find out what the CEL code is first that would help alot. You can check it by going to a local auto store. However, I do recommend you check the terminals first as I'm pretty sure that's the cause. One other option is that the place you had it replaced did not give you a powerful enough battery. For instance with my JDM 6 I need eleven plates in the battery for the car to start with optimal power. Any less and the car will struggle or not switch on.
