I just bought a 2005 mazda6 2.3i manual. Everything is great except i need to fix the heat. The blower is blowing cold. The temp guage is working and says the temp is correct. Any suggestions on what to check would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to try flushing the heater core. You should be able to disconnect the heater hoses, and run a garden hose into one line until the other line runs clear.

We did this to a friend's GMC Jimmy that had no heat and a few tiny specs of dirt are all that came out, but it fixed the issue. Heat is still blowing great a year later.
