You mean like the SCT flash or an Accessport? No no no...that'd be too easy.

Yeah, unfortunately there's nothing like that available for us.

Oh, and welcome to the club!

would SCT work? Since that works on fusion 2.3, which basically is the ford version of the 6.

What about 1 shot dyno tunes? Where can I get my 2.3's ecu remapped?

thought we are very much ford, the ecu's are completely different...and different on the 3.0, and different on the Mazda3 and the speed6 and the speed3. Tuning is all about ecu, and that's it, so unless it's the same brand/setup, it makes no difference if the rest of the car is exactly the same.

though there is someone playing with hacking into the 3.0 ecu, currenlty there are no options to "remap" the factory ecu in any way. either go aftermarket ecu or wait another several years.

Tea, do you know why does some companies offer to remap any car on a dyno? I found one site saying they do all mazda's and they offer remap on post 2000 cars and chiptuning on pre-2000.

they aren't in the US, so not really sure, it's a completely different ECU. JET CHIP out here said they can tune it too, but won't guarantee anything on their stuff, as i offered to pay for the dyno time as i'm down the street, just didn't want to waste $500 if it didn't do anything.

there's a company in Europe that has been doing tunes on the smaller engine 6's for a good 4+ years now, but they didn't know if they could do anything to ours. There was a guy in Poland or the Ukraine that had a shop flash his US spec ecu in a matter of minutes....so maybe everyone in Europe is just smarter? if you can find a place that you trust that says they can do it, it's not going to hurt anything to check them out, worst they can say is sorry.
