I read this as you're shocked by what you see, lol. It might be the car, or it might be you. For a few months, I had this blanket that must've made me all static-y, because whenever I picked up my phone it would shock me. If I didn't have the blanket, the phone wouldn't shock me. Maybe something like that is happening?

Perhaps someone else has actually heard of this happening..

Its just some static electricity right? I wouldnt be too concerned if its just your standard static.

Every car picks up some amount of static while driving. Learned about it in college.

And always make sure u touch the car first before u gas up....don't want that zap to happen while fueling up lol.
You could always put one of those tails on the back of your car....you know the one that hang on the ground lol

Yes a grounding strap would help. Its nothing i would worry about too much unless it really bothers you.

I ve never been zapped from mine yet either. But doing Laundry the other day at my girls place i was getting zapped like crazy....Loves me a good zap in the morn lol

EDIT: I was just kidin about the getto 80's shock staps lol

A good way to avoid the shocks? Instead of pushing the door closed by the metal trim, I just push against the window. No zaps.
